Just went out with another couple for the first time in many moons. My partner loves me and agrees with me. My kids may bust my balls about being so overtly political, but I raised them well. They know right from wrong. I don't know how to socialize with other people. I don't know how to look away from the elephant. I can't pretend. As always, no pity requested or required. We lie in the bed that we made. Just observing that life in a country of murderous solipsists is exhausting.
