I dated a friend in Germany once. She had an ex who was very abusive and literally locked her out of their apartment, which she was paying half the rent for, in the freezing cold. Another roommate let her in.
She would probably find this funny, but I can't send it to her. We don't talk anymore after she went crazy hard left in 2020.
