Found this webm on 4chan. Am quite mad that this type of argument persists (although the video is probably a few years old by now because I'm pretty sure I've seen it before). If you find that you have nothing in common with someone younger than you, you are likely severely socially and/or emotionally stunted. Just because you are not in the same stage of your education and career does not mean you have nothing in common.

Can two people of different age groups enjoy the same hobby? Yes. Can they enjoy watching the same movies, playing the same games, eating the same foods? Yes. You probably have something in common with even a 6 year old. But even still, you don't have to have a ton in common with another person to be in a relationship with them. Most of us would probably prefer not to date our own literal clones, who are the people who would have the most in common with us. The thing that matters is that you enjoy each other's company.
