Yup ZwaveJS version has hooped me before too.
The new 3..2..1.. backup for HA can schedule your backups to happen automatically so you'd at least have the previous day to roll back after a botched upgrade.
Im looking at writing a automation that triggers this new backup mechanism before any package upgrades so i have a "just before this action" restore point.
