The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office has announced that the gunman who ambushed several firefighters earlier today on Canfield Mountain near Coeur d’Alene, northern Idaho—killing at least two and injuring several others—has been found dead by SWAT.
According to the statement, the “Shelter-in-Place” order has now been lifted. However, authorities note that a wildfire remains active on Canfield Mountain.
