While I don't think AI is a replacement for critical thinking, surely courses should be outcome based where the outcome is understanding + *applying* that understanding. If AI is a shortcut to understanding, we need ways to measure that. The real question is how but without letting use of AI mask a lack of it. Exams might be part of the answer, but shouldn't problem solving using available tools also be? One thing is for sure, AI won't be uninvented
