"content": "Madeira just made it to my favorite places in the world 👌I could totally retire here, if that's ever a thing.\nVery few straight roads, it's mostly twisties everywhere!\nThe infrastructure is amazing, great roads, plenty of tunnels and bridges with amazing views. Lot of places to stop and enjoy the view, all free off course.\n\nThe best thing is you can just focus on the road instead of keeping the speed under artificially lowered limits meant for revenue generation. The speed signs are actually useful here.\nYep, no speed traps, no police hiding around a corner, there are only some general cameras in cities but always clearly marked.\n\nMakes me think the maturity of society these days is inversely proportional to amount of cameras spying on you...\n\nIf you want breakfast at 9am...well tough luck because the kitchens don't open until 11am or so.
