sounds like quite a hack, but does make perfect sense! Right now, I'm thinking of re-implementing (a subset of) HyperTalk and adding an HTML front-end for it. (Because HTML is probably the most accessible GUI framework there is.) Will have to ponder on that some more, but it seems relatively doable.
