In ordinary garden news, I've now done my awkward stepladder job of the year giving a haircut to the tall laurel hedge that birds like for nesting. And thereby filled the first compost bin of 2025.
Close to frost again tonight.
But - it looks like next week here may have some nighttime temps here at 9 or 10C.
I'll happily take encouragement from new growth and birdnesting.
