Post-treatment I found employment but despite working from home for a couple of years my employer eventually insisted I return to campus. The person for whom I cared was terrified. Ultimately I had to give up work, which had been my only (unbelievably) respite and source of non-‘caring’ interaction.
If I had a £ for every time some bright spark offered their unsolicited ‘advice’… Hah! I can’t be polite about it. Oh, and I’m not as bitter as it sounds.
