I was getting real tired of the "Sign in with Google" pop ups when I just wanted to use a real user/password.
There are some browser extensions that claim to fix that, but if you are already using uBlock, and I know many of you are, then a simple filter will do the trick.
I used the one suggested in the following link and it seems to work fine (only one day's experience, however.) YMMV
