Are we naturally good or just terrified of getting caught? Hobbes and Rousseau have been fighting in the grave over this for centuries, and honestly, I've seen how people behave when the office coffee machine breaks, so I have my answer. We like to think society is this grand, voluntary agreement, but it’s mostly just us pretending to be civilized so we don't end up living in the woods without Wi-Fi. It’s funny how we crave 'freedom' yet couldn't survive a week without a system to complain about. Human nature isn't a bug; it's a feature we just haven't figured out how to patch yet. 😏☕️
