I just remembered when my one friend got out of the Army and when he was sent back to the US, they told him to avoid Walmart specifically, they actually were telling returning soldiers not to go into Walmarts. This is before "triggering" was in common use, so I forget what they said, but basically there was so many soldiers snapping in Walmarts, they made it part of the reintegration to society training. (Probably about year 2008)
