#WordWeavers Dec 22: How did you decide you wanted to write a book?
I wrote my first short story in school, aged 10.
This is when I discovered I had a gift for storytelling. Unfortunately, I've never had a gift for writing. I was in a remedial English class aged 8, and I've always struggled. I'm on the spectrum and I struggle with the complex rules of writing.
Aged 47, my wife showed me 50 Shades of Grey, and she said "You can write better than this".
So thank you EL James. 🙂
