I was thinking today what a valuable tool the simple hashtag #asknostr is. What other way of asking a question is there, in the absence of many critical thinkers in one’s day to day life, where you can get opinions and answers from people who share many of your philosophical underpinnings about sovereignty, privacy and freedom? I can think of none. In the hundreds of people I come in contact with in a month, I still have only one person IRL at this moment in my life that really “gets it”. Yet here, there are scores of us. I’m not saying we are not all as fallible as anyone else, but philosophical alignment is worth so much when seeking answers and opinions on questions that matter.
