Interesting how ink and paper can make a difference. Moleskine notebooks have paper that doesn’t seem to be very fountain pen friendly. Which really shows when you’re using it with a huge gushing nib like in the Pelikan M1000.
Also the Pelikan Edelstein inks seem to be quite ‘wet’. Yes, it surprised me too, but there are wet and dry inks.
I bought a new notebook, a De Kempen, and two bottles of Pelikan 4001 ink, which are much drier.
