No worry, it’s not how I understood your messages in the first place ;)
I was commenting on the fact that the bug you complained about has never been reported to the Debian maintainer of yosys, so that would not help them getting aware of the problem. As you said earlier, they can’t be expected to know everything about the upstream software (it is obviously much better when a package is maintained by someone that has a regular and extensive use of it).
