We’ve been doing #trustedhousesitters house & dog sits for over a year. We’ve seen a lot of houses.
I’m a decent handyman, so I find small fixes to help the homeowners as part of the thank you. The quickest fix is when I find a towel or curtain sod that’s pulling away from the wall. The owner used the stock drywall anchors that come with the kit, that are crap — they can’t handle the weight and/or the repeated stress of use.
I replace them with a set of these EZ Ancors. The screw-in style makes them more secure and they can handle more weight.
With parts in hand, in less than 5 minutes, I’ve fixed an annoyance for the homeowner. Really good for replacement work, as no drilling required.
