#krokodili My friend is in the west, Washington would-visit BC, and would need to be driven with a friend or would need to go on foot or via bus. She's also transgender, so that could make things more difficult for her. How was the actual crossing (both times: getting permitted as a tourist into Canada, and getting permitted to re-enter the US as a citizen)? I'd be interested in a high level, not quite blow-by-blow (which you likely don't remember anyway), but not just «yeah I did it», but specifically what steps did you experience that might indicate you would be at risk of getting infected? Do you have special immigration clearance such as NEXUS?
