A student came up to me after a Philosophy class I teach yesterday & said thank you to me for writing a thoughtful response to their essays & reflections. Apparently he said many instructors are giving feedback using AI & it's obvious & I was the first professor in a while to give thoughtful human feedback. Is the bar really that low?
