when i say "soft crisis " i am referring at heart to the Marx's law of the tendencies of the rate of profit to fall (all soft crises are grounded in this). When i say "hard crisis" i am referring to such limits to growth as the climate, the limits which industrial society cannot exceed... the mass extinction event is a typical variant. #philosophy
