Richard Carroll (nprofile…le9r) I find the lesser research on Greek culture sad and oddly interesting. My grandmother had Greek books, plates, and even an ancient mechanical clock.
I didn't appreciate these "relics" enough until I grow up and became interested in my ancestry, by that time they got lost when she passed away. At least I was aware sometimes and have some pictures.
I feel as if modern culture not only does not care about Greek history, texts and scripts, but if these can be forgotten, it would be better for some group of people. Can't help but make me a little sad.
