In what must be the most obscure Black Friday deal, Amazon had a Type 1 (J1772) to Type 2 (IEC 62196) cable at more than 50% off. So I am the proud owner of an adapter that I can’t really test for another 9 months.
I also received an EU style light switch from an eBay seller in the UK (surprisingly inexpensive).Next step is installing it to see if I can get the rear fog light to work with my rudimentary coding skills.
