I never mentioned to mom that her time was drawing nigh....I just made every opportunity to facilitate those connections. I didn't look at the cabinet at all during that last month other than shifting the furniture out of the foyer into my bedroom so we could get the cabinet inside the house . I figured that I would work on it later, in that space. And so, it sat there ....from June until yesterday.
Once the government shut down I finally had time free, so I started restoring the piece.
