Boeing is the perfect example of what happens when greedy incompetent leaders take over after a company has been built up.
A company like boeing had inertia and people that still cared, so when bad leadership took over, it was fine. The Roman roads didn't all turn to rubble the instant Rome was sacked. But over time, things will progressively get worse in small increments. It took almost 20+ years for boeing to get here.
Maybe, and I'm just spitballing here, boeing should focus on their core business instead of stock buybacks.
