Whatever a person's agenda, tax is the tried & tested way for wealth to be democratically* distributed. Fundamentally, politicians, should receive a fair "days" pay for a honest "days" job.
I realise that makes me an idealist. However, l'm also practical. There is no good reason why rich countries can not use their wealth to focus funds on health & environmental care, for example.
But, & this is explicit, how many *billionaires support a national health system?
