When my GPU died I first switched to the motherboard graphics & then I bought a 1200W modular PSU thinking the PSU might be the issue. Unfortunately it wasn't the PSU but I remembered the GPU from my last PC.
I thought it was dead, built a whole new PC & just reused the HDDs. To my delight that 5+ year old GPU works fine with the new PSU.
I won't be upgrading until bitcoin is in price discovery mode again but I'll have to dig around & see if I've got any ram sticks lying around. I might be able to get something for them.
