some platforms like Instagram and Tik-Tok hit the nail on the head on the first try - others like YouTube struggled to hit that ideal initially but ultimately succeeded and X is finally seeing some success
the big accounts will still read what you say even today but they will no longer reply ... because back then 10,000 followers was a big account, today 100,000 is a small account - it has gotten a lot more corporate in feel - people are now getting paid to post etc.
and even beyond that Shawn Baker has proven that cults will always dominate any kind of intelligent discourse so everybody basically just gave up on that. trying to be intelligent was a failed experiment like letting women vote.
