I am writing this from Gaza, where the traditional financial system is no longer just "broken"—it is completely absent.
For a long time, I watched from the outside as people talked about "financial sovereignty" and "decentralization" as abstract theories. Today, living through the collapse of cash and the failure of traditional banking, I see them as the only bridge to survival.
I’ve joined #Nostr to document the reality of life under these extreme conditions. I am not here to ask for pity; I am here to build, to share, and to demonstrate how technology becomes a tool for resilience when everything else is stripped away.
