I don't know how often I should sample and how long I can keep the charge without affecting the outcome, but if I could keep the op-amp always connected, that would make the circuit simpler. So that's why I look at the bias current: the measurement happens when the capacitor is disconnected and under load.

So I guess input bias should be a negligible fraction of the expected load.
