I was in the virtual draw in for a local artist group. Not ten minutes in and they were talking about “as a gay black man I’m worried to stay living in America now” and “I have lots of trans friends who are concerned about what the Republicans will do next.” I just wanted some people I could talk about drawing raccoons with.
