In his 2025 MOU with Danielle Smith, Mark Carney required a private backer for a new pipeline, approval of First Nations, a new carbon capture facility, and a price on Alberta's industrial carbon pollution of $130/tonne by 2030.
Today, Carney has no private backer, unanimous oppostion from First Nations, no carbon capture facility (which doesn't work anyway), and now he's backed down on the price of pollution, giving Alberta an extra ten years to pollute at artificially low costs.
Mark Carney is obviously a terrible negotiator.
