if they hit israel hard, zog will undoubtably start a war with them and Iran would really have no choice but to shut down the strait of hormuz, which will at least temporarily fuck up global oil trade among other things. it's not even off that table that israel could nuke iran, although that's a dangerous move even for them. but it's easy to see why irans global partners would pressure them to back off, even though they look like a huge pussy right now.

even if iran and it's proxies would probably fuck up zog in a real conflict, they wouldn't get off unscathed by any means. look at russia, they completely outmatch ukraine but they're still getting hit back.
