Because doing repairs and maintenance stuff is therapeutic for me. Also, doing that stuff when I had been waiting on the Ex to much of it (empty promises) is extra therapeutic. I’m not some frail, dainty thing who can’t handle a screwdriver but rather a capable, creative, and resourceful old broad.
