To be honest, it was many years ago, I cannot guarantee that it was indeed the prime numbers theorem or even Wiener (although I am like 90% certain of this). But someone managed to use this expression to get deep non trivial results about number theory, that's for sure. And I also wonder how exactly Wiener (or whoever) explored this. It looks far from trivial. I never looked up into this proof.
