This was an interesting use of LLM assistance to help with some of the HID/event code; they were good at dealing with the generalist C stuff and basic interactions, but failed when it got to the weird edge cases in the HID reports. Still, it was a big speed increase as it saved me re-researching a lot of "how do I do <X> in C".
