i just don't like complex languages. almost all the things we try do do with computers are pretty easy algorithmically. the things really hard tend to not be done in these fancy languages as then you have TWO hard things. complex languages make it harder to solve problems, you have to keep the problem and a model of the language in your head at the same time (concurrency! xD)
