Docker backups are only real after a restore test.
A compose file is easy to version. The annoying part is volumes: databases, uploads, and config directories quietly decide what “the app” actually is.
Local backup first, then rclone to off-site storage. And once in a while: restore into a throwaway folder, just to prove the backup is not wishful thinking.
