Unpopular opinion
Pedi has an abuse problem. No one does anything about it. No one talks about it. Victims get silenced and shamed. Called liars. Harrassed for evidence (not everyone remembers to take screen shots and export matrix chats) and dismissal of their own experiences and trauma.
It breaks my heart to see kids or teens in our community get made to feel like a piece of meat and hate themselves and feel alone because they met a pedo who only sees them as that instead of a pedo who would be a friend and care, or love them for more than that.
Today I made a choice to defederate Aco's instance, doll.salon from my instance. Because, Aco is part of the problem with what is wrong. He takes advantage of mentally ill people who get attached easily.
My popularity will take a hit. I'll probably be cancelled even more than I already am. Whatever. I'd rather stand up for what I believe in from now on, then be shamed or bullied into silence, or tolerate shitty people for political reasons and federating.
