Nothing would prevent Australia from blocking your site, but it would be better if they did so themselves, rather than you doing it for them.
If you block access, you're assuming both the cost and the responsibility — and arguably complying with their foolish law when you're not actually required to.
Moreover, if Australia begins a broader campaign of blocking, its citizens may rally against the government's overreach. In that case, the government can't simply deflect blame by saying someone else acted on their behalf.
