Tonight’s funtime activity for me was chasing a coyote away from the cows by waving my canes and using my booming voice to scare it. The coyote began to run away and then it stopped and looked back at me with an expression that said, “Lady, don’t think you scare me because you don’t.”
The mama cows are pretty fierce about protecting their calves and probably don’t need my help at all. Last week, I saw one cow chase a cat out of the pasture because it came too close. That was a funny scene.
