So my spouse has been working the County Fair all week (haven't really spent any time with her since Monday), which to me is crazy: crowds of people, most of whom I won't like, is my idea of a very bad time. But she is predisposed to liking people, so.
Anyway she texts me to say she met an older (75) trans woman who lives in the neighboring town, and gave me her number.
This is the sort of thing that happens to her. Like, the odds of that are kinda unreal, but here we are.
It sounds like the woman's wife passed away not too long ago.
I'm meeting her at a coffee shop, headed out the door now.
