finished reading Ardern's memoir and it left me more convinced that she is one of the best world leaders in recent years. maybe she wasn't as much leftwing as some people wanted, or disagreed with some of her policies, but she truly offered a different kind of power – one based on compassion, listening and care.

it is also a reminder that in the current world of polarisation & radicalisation - no matter the topic - we urgently need the opposite.
