I always thought that black to blue gradient is supposed to reflect like a late night crunching session getting the computers going. I only realized now that it’s supposed to be more like a “Windows NT gets you high up, not even the sky is the limit” kind of things.
Then again, you have WINLOGON.EXE with a window showing a night sky and a moon through a window.
