A long read, "Unraveling my medical mystery" -- a lot there, being w/o a diagnosis means there's no treatment plan, lots of agony until you get the right doc or some treatment just works.
Tbh I think going to a NYC hospital was really helpful, in a way it would not be in more rural areas.
It was good for me to read this piece, I'm coming around that it doesn't matter what disease it is (for me), just which treatment works. The wrinkle is insurance wants a Dx code.
