Anyone ever experience an ancient motherboard/cpu refusing to boot era-appropriate ISOs?
I am trying to boot gparted .20 or something from when this MOBO was mid-life, but nothing.
I get the beep that stops the boot. It's almost as if there is something in the hardware that keeps normal x86 OSs from loading.
I am cloning a disk of the OS so I can remove the grub password to continue my digging.
