Because the miners' leadership was cucking-out and refused to fight the government who was murdering them for the benefit of jews, and because of the inability to combat the air superiority, the miners hid their guns in the mountains and retreated.
985 of these miners were eventually caught and arrested for murder, conspiracy, and treason. Unlike in TN, the jewdicial system in WV was jew-alligned and very few of these miners would be freed.
In the short term, union membership fell 80-90% in WV and nearby states
This coincided with the collapse of the coal industry as a whole due in-part to oil/diesel/petrol fuels becoming more popular
This loss would also force unions to do slow jew-controlled reforms through the legal injustice system instead of violence because violence works too well and the legal injustice system is set-up to benefit jews first.
In hindsight most see this as a pyrrhic victory because if not for the Coal Wars, we would never have had the labor reforms in the late 30s that I had mentioned in the OP like no more child slavery, no more Slavery 2 (company town style), etc
