I probably don't dislike discord as much as you, but I do agree that it's not the place for code or documentation.
I did however run into something worse.
In order to get access to the AtGames OneSauce G-Drive you need to join their Facebook and ask for access via a link on Discord. If you don't have a Facebook, well too bad.
