Our local parish priest, who is organising the confirmations of kids in my eldest sons year, contacted me out of the blue via facebook messenger to ask if my kid is going to be confirmed.

I am not connected to her on facebook, my son is not old enough to use facebook to give consent to data about him being used there and when we registered our kids birth with the church, I dont recall facebook messenger being the contact point of choice on the paperwork.

I responded to her and asked for a link to their privacy policy that shows that we may be contacted like that. Waiting to see what her response is.

But seriously, I cant be the only one that would be weired out by being contacted like that about my kid by someone who is essentially a stranger, right?
