At a night market last night, we stopped at a coconut stand and ended up having one of those unexpectedly great conversations.

After buying a couple coconuts, we started talking with the stand runners — both seniors in high school — about their POS setup. They said they recommend a different one that that they aren’t using over their current set up because the fees seem lower.

Then we asked if they knew much about Bitcoin.

Their reaction was immediate excitement: “Wait… how do people actually do that? Do people really pay that way?”

Honestly, it was refreshing to see that kind of genuine curiosity — no cynicism, just interest and openness.

Very cool experience. Hope we run into them again… and next time pay in Bitcoin. ⚡🥥
